Peter has a scientific background with a PhD in microbiology from the University of Munich. He also gained an MBA from Henley Management College.
Peter has a professional career spanning nearly 30 years, moving from scientific research, to clinical development and now data analytics and data science.
Prior to becoming an independent consultant focusing on data and data analytics, he worked as Director of Development for Helperby Therapeutics – a biopharmaceutical start-up at the time – where he gained a deep understanding of the key drivers in the clinical development process with a focus on study design, project management and outcome deliverables in the context of the overall strategic direction.
While working for Helperby, Peter also gained an insight into organisational strategy and financial management. It was during this period that Peter completed his MBA at Henley Management College.
Throughout his career one thing was always evident, irrespective of whether it was within the field of science, organisational strategy or financial management – everything was determined by the underlying data.
